The 992-generation Turbo S takes this philosophy to new heights. Its 3.7-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six produces 640 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, channeled through an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and Porsche's legendary all-wheel-drive system. Porsche's PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) sport chassis lowers the car by 10mm and features active anti-roll bars that can apply up to 1,500 Nm of force to keep the car flat through corners. The rear-axle steering system turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the fronts at high speed for stability, and counter-steers at low speed for agility — effectively shortening the wheelbase by 250mm in tight turns.

Porsche 911 Turbo S design evolution

The 992 Turbo S is the widest 911 ever built, with a body 45mm wider than the standard Carrera at the rear. The massive wheel arches house 315-section rear tires and 255-section fronts — providing the mechanical grip to deploy all 640 horsepower effectively.

Active aerodynamics include a deployable rear wing and adaptive front air intakes that adjust cooling and downforce based on speed and driving mode. The NACA ducts on the rear fenders channel air to the intercoolers, keeping intake temperatures optimal even during sustained high-speed driving.

The interior blends luxury grand touring comfort with sports car precision. The 10.9-inch touchscreen, Sport Chrono package with dashboard-mounted stopwatch, and configurable 911 instrument cluster ensure you're always connected to the car's performance while enjoying a refined, quiet cabin when cruising.
